While lack of empathy has been front and center in the world's current happenings, I believe it only shines more light on its importance. Empathy is truly the ability to meet people exactly where they are, free of judgment, at any time.
In leadership, this has been my most helpful tool and one I am grateful to have been able to pass on to my incredible coaching clients. It also allows us to grow and excel all while building relationships. With empathy, anything is possible.

Listen free of biases.
Listening will always play a vital role in empathy. Allow others to speak and truly listen with open-minded intentions.
Observe and take note.
Some can wear a brave face. You never fully know others’ circumstances. Watch what they are not saying.
Offer support.
Activate for those who cannot. Extend a hand, you’ll know what to do next.
