When did you get curious about rediscovering your life? Many of my clients come to me seeking truth and purpose on their journey into the next chapter. And as always, we go back to embracing our truth and shining a light on what makes us one of a kind.

Growing up in Kenya, I always noted a clear differences between myself and those around me. This troubled me for many years until my journey showed me that these differences also existed in others I met along the way. Sometimes a mirror can be the clearest way to see yourself.

Here’s what I learned while beginning to rediscover my life.

Redefine “belonging” .

At a young age we develop a clear sense of what we believe to be “belonging”. Remembering to not hold yourself to the standards of others is vital on the journey to truth.

Find your community.

Your people. Your closest allies. Community is everything and can be filled with likeminded people (or not)… that’s the beauty of building a community. It’s all up to you.

Embrace change to the fullest.

Whether it be relocating, changing careers or revisiting a place of the past, every change contributes to your story. Each moment teaches us a lesson and pushes us to grow.
